So I’ve been wandering around the ‘vegetarian’ tag…and I noticed something which irritated me a little bit.
So many people talking about “oh going Vegetarian/Vegan this week” or “Oh I’m Vegetarian 3 days a week”…what?
Fair enough if you are trying it out to see if the diet suits you, I do know…
I’m a vegan myself (full time), and I agree to some small degree; people who eat meat in any way, shape or form shouldn’t cheapen the cause with that part-time bullshit. How can you be vegetarian without also supporting the ideals of vegetarianism? HOWEVER, if people are willing to give up meat even once a week then potentially an animal’s life is saved, and any vegetarian or vegan who is not so for purely selfish reasons should be thankful for that.
Fair enough, those people aren’t vegan, but telling them, ‘you either eat meat, or you don’t’ is fucking ridiculous. You sound like a great vegetarian
